This may help as it worked for me, I had the same issue, permissions failure when backing up to my Qnap Server. I was running the program as a service when receiving the problem, so I stopped and removed the service using the cobian reflector service and application control under action drop down, then I set the program to run as a application for me only, then I opened the application directory to where cobian is installed and set the program to run as administrator under compatability mode. Thats it, it all started working no more errors. I didn't need to set the backup to run as a different user as I use the same user/password on my windows 11 machine as i do on the server, but I guess if its different then you would have to add the correct details to the impersonation section.
