Cobian Reflector • Errors backing up from a NAS drive

In our Radio Studio, we have used Cobian Backup Gravity for many years to backup files on our Network Attached Storage (NAS) drive but recently, whilst the tasks were running and creating the destination directories via FTP, no files were being copied over.

After trying a lot of diagnostics, I decided to move from Cobian Reflector, but sadly the same errors persist.

The machine it's working on is an old Windows 7 Pro PC so I decided to test the same exercise in my Office with a different NAS and running Reflector on a Windows 11 PC. Yet again the same problem!

Backing up files from a local directory to another local directory works fine, and also to an FTP destination too, it's just that trying to access any Network drive, even a mapped drive, results in Directory Not Found. Here's a recent log entry.

Code:

There are errors. Consult the log file.
Testing also from another Windows PX using the \\PCname\Directory results in the same Directory not found. error.

Any guidance on why this is occurring most gratefully acknowledged.
