Just had it happen again. I was running release 2.40. The log showed a new release was available (2.50), and NO BACKUP WAS DONE.
I downloaded version 2.50, and tried to install it. however, it kept saying a file was in use, and stopped the installation. I start the server as a service.
You would THINK that the installation of the program, if it detected an older version was running, would be smart enough to STOP everything from the older version, BEFORE installing the newer version.
