Hello,
I use Windows 10 newest version on a computer with an Intel i7 5820K processor and a motherboard X99 fatality.
I liked very much the version Cobian Gravity 11 and I used it until very recently.
I never had any serious problems with windows i.e. Windows 10, of which
I use the newest version. Since the backups with Cobian backup took
too much time I changed to Reflector some weeks ago.
The newest version is exactly what I was waiting for, since with one
core, Cobian Gravity needed too much time for a backup.
So I like the program.
However, also, since some weeks I have a serious Windows problem:
The screen is "blinking" and no access to any program:
It is not the black screen (Task manager stays visible) but a blue screen - without desktop signals - which is appearing
but it is not the blue screen of death with error messages.
It is just the normal graphical user surface which disappears and switches to
the blue screen without anything on the screen. All the time, all resources are used to rebuild the GUI.
So no access to any file which is usually on the surface.
It happens with varying frequency and if frequency is high, it is impossible to do anything except
for calling the task manager and using the "new process" command line of the menu.
The task manager does not disappear. Also, Windows explorer can be opened from the task manager.
However, there are no desktop symbols and there is no task line, no start menu, no clock, etc. on the "blinking" blue screen.
Using the task manager, some programs can be opened, but others not.
It is quite annoying and impossible to work under such conditions.
I had to restore Windows already 5 times...
Is there anyone who made a similar experience using Cobian Reflector?
