I need to backup folders from a network drive so I know I need to install Cobian as a service. I enter my domain\username and password and it installs the service. However when it asks if I want to start the service and I say yes, it then says "Couldn't start the service: The service did not start due to a logon failure."
So the obvious answer is I'm entering in the wrong domain or username or password. Except I'm not. I even downloaded another (rubbish) backup application and when I tried to backup a folder on a network drive it asked for the same domain\username etc. I entered it and hey presto it backed it up without a problem. So I AM using the correct information.
I'm obviously doing something wrong but I can't work out what.
