I haven't used Cobian Backup for around 5 years but have just installed Cobian Reflector and am encountering a weird problem which I'm sure is user error but I can't work out what it is.
Basically I'm trying to create a 1:1 copy of selected folders onto a USB drive. I don't need the folders to be timestamped, compressed, put into a sub folder or anything fancy. It literally just needs to be as if I had drag and dropped the folders from one drive to another.
The folders I want to backup are all saved within P:/Projects/Completed Projects/. I want to back them up to X:/Completed Projects/
The only thing that makes a very simple task ever so slightly more complicated, is that I don't want to back up every folder within P:/Projects/Completed Projects. I need to be able to select them individually or in groups (Shift+Click) as there are hundreds of them.
When I used Cobian Backup, I would simply select the folders I wanted in Explorer and just drag and drop them into the Source window of the task. However, there doesn't seem to be a way of doing this in Cobian Reflector and if I use the Add Directory function, it only lets me select one directory at a time which will take forever to do.
Incidentally I've also tried installing Cobian Backup (I'm running Windows 10) but when I drag folders into the Source window a plus symbol comes up but when I drop the folders they are not added.
So how can I easily add multiple source directories in either Cobian Reflector or Cobian Backup without having to add them individually?
