I removed that file. Starting the UI created that file again. After about 15 seconds or so, the UI icon disappeared. In other words, that made no difference. Nothing I've tried brings back normal operation. Strange because it had been running fine - I saved a copy of the logs, etc and the logs show it was running since October 2021.
It appears that only the "open" is failing to function from the right-click icon menu. Other menu items like "about" work OK. Before I removed the logs and settings, "Run all tasks" ran also and normal results went into the log.
I have removed and re-installed Cobian Reflector after rebooting Windows. The last time I had the install remove the existing logs, etc. Nothing seems to bring back an operating backup program.
